印度工業暨國內貿易推廣部門 (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, DPIIT) 於 2023 年 9 月 25 日發布了《獨立式飲用水冷卻器 (Self-Contained Drinking Water Cooler) 品質控制令 (Quality Control Order, QCO)》，並預計在此通知發布日起的六個月後生效該法令。

根據要求，所有獨立式飲用水冷卻器皆需取得印度標準局 (Bureau of Indian Standards, BIS) 所管轄的 ISI 標誌 (Scheme-I) 認證。以下重點摘錄：

• 本法令不適用於在印度境內生產的出口貨物或物品。
• 針對微型企業 (根據 2006 中小型企業發展法 (27 of 2006) 第二章節下的條款 (h) 與 (m) 之定義)，適用的法令生效期為自本通知發佈日起的 12 個月後。
• 針對小型企業 (根據 2006 中小型企業發展法 (27 of 2006) 第二章節下的條款 (h) 與 (m) 之定義)，適用的法令生效期為自本通知發佈日起的 9 個月後。
